It fires the 7.62x25 cartridge which was developed alongside the pistol and it was the service pistols of the Soviet Army in World War Two. While somewhat antiquated in magazine size, its high velocity caliber and very flat trajectory it was the armor-piercing pistol of its time. The Ash-12 is a Russian bullpup select-fire special purpose rifle chambered for 12.7x55mm. It was designed for high short-range stopping power in urban environments. Weapon Configuration Ash-12 Bullpup, select fire (semi / full auto 650 RPM). Ash-12 ammo The 12.7x55 is a heavy subsonic caliber. PS12 The PS12 is the mid-range round that combines average armor penetration with average damage. The term average is within the context of the 12.7x55. It has damage similar to a shotgun slug, with the penetration of an average rifle round. It has a +10% accuracy modifier. PS12A The PS12A is the low-penetration variant. Very low penetration, combined with very high damage. If the target is not dead on the first shot, a hit in any limb will cut away 37% total HP. PS12B The PS12B is the hardest armor-piercing variant. First-shot class 5 penetration with enough damage coming behind it to knock down a target with one shot.
