Complete night operations guide
In this guide we will examine what EFT offers for night time combat. What is nighttime? First let's define what nighttime is in EFT. I would define it as the time in which the use of flashlights and night-vision equipment has a tactical advantage over not using it. The edge of dawn and dusk times can be narrowed down to the following: 21:30 is the time of day where dusk transitions into night time. 05:00 is the time of day where dawn transitions into morning. The passing of time Time in EFT passes approximately 5.5 times faster than in real life. This equals to one ingame hour as 12-15 minutes real time. This is important to keep in mind when preparing for a night mission. If you plan to spend 30 minutes in a map, appoximately 2.5 ingame hours will pass. So if the raid is started at 03:00 ingame time, then the sun will start rising near the end of your raid. 22:00. Note the last light of the sunset towards the west. 02:00. If the moon...
Are you saying that hitting no armor will do 64 damage but hitting level 2 armor will do 65 damage?
AntwortenLöschenSimilar to what Johnny said, I'm struggling to understand what these charts are trying to get across.
AntwortenLöschensame for me, please either create a chart explaining it in details or go back to old system
LöschenNot really sure what's unclear here. The way I understand it, for this chart specifically (and I could do this for each chart using the new method), having level 2 armor or below has no effect on damage to the body part that was shot. It says 64 for 0 armor, 65 for 2 armor, but that's probably due to variance in Cat's testing method and not actually because armor is increasing damage done. Just means the armor has 0 effect on the bullet, more or less.
LöschenThen, even on level 5 helmets (FAST), if the round penetrates (which it does most of the time on a direct hit, however on an indirect hit has a chance to ricochet, dealing minimal damage), it will kill in one hit. Only the Fort armor (level 6) can stop the M80 rounds in their place.
Everything makes sense except the 16,1 10,6 etc, ... Im guessing its armor damage but what is after the comma? Or is it supposed to be a period (.)?
LöschenThe armor damage is displayed with one digit after the comma. Health damage is displayed rounded to whole numbers, that is why armor damage in the chart has digits.
Löschen16.1 damage on fast fire means if the round does NOT penetrate, it will eat 16.1 HP damage from the armor. If the round does NOT penetrate fort (which it doesn't) it will eat 10.6 damage from the fort, which means you will need a total of 7 shots directly to fort to destroy it, and another 2 shots directly to the chest to kill, totaling 9 rounds to kill someone using fort, or 4 rounds to destroy a fastfire with a visor (class 5, given the visors actually work).
Löschen*M80 only does 16.1 armor damage to paca lol wtf? seeing how it almost always penetrates it's kinda moot but still stupid.
Any info on new cartridges?
AntwortenLöschenim curious what is the damage for AP as on a fast MT it seems to one shot the person and do like 54 damage is what it said i think and what about M61 on fort?
AntwortenLöschenCan you update this because m80 has 41 pen now, please and thank you
AntwortenLöschenUpdated with latest. Thx for the information.
