SR1-MP




The SR-1 MP is a Russian semi-automatic pistol that entered service in 2003. It is chambered for the 9x21 armor-piercing pistol caliber. Its users are Russian military intelligence, protection details of Russian officials and the FSB.

Weapon Configuration

The weapon resembles a larger Makarov pistol. The standard and one available magazine size has a capacity of 18 rounds.

SR-1 MP ammo

The 9x21 is an armor-piercing pistol caliber developed, developed for the SR-1 pistol and SR-2 submachinegun. Its purpose is to defeat modern body armor.








  • SP10
    The SP10 is an armor-piercing round with 49 damage and 32 penetration. This allows it to shoot straight through class 3 armor with almost no damage reduction.
  • SP11
    The SP11 is a soft round delivering 70 damage and 16 penetration. Its tactical application lies in the ability to get through class 2 armor (breaking point 13 penetration). It's basically a "plus one" hollow point round.
  • SP12
    The SP12 is similar to the SP11 a soft round at 75 damage and 14 penetration. It has slightly higher damage at slightly lower penetration. However the 14 penetration still cracks class 2 armor.
  • SP13
    The SP13  is the hardest armor-piercing variant at 62 damage and 36 penetration. This cartridge combines high damage and hard penetration which cracks class 4 armor on the first shot. In combat, this can provide 1-2 shot kills against class 4 armor.







 SR-1 MP Summary

The SR-1 MP is a modern, armor-piercing combat pistol that provides the armor-penetration of assault rifles in the format of a pistol.

It is an ideal pistol for situations that require firepower a 9x19 can not provide.




Accuracy 6/10
With an accuracy of 0.6 the SR-1 is the least accurate pistol along with the Grach.

Recoil 5/10
Recoil is average for powerful cartridge (v520 / h325)

Ammo 7/10
The 9x21 cartridge outclasses different pistol ammo, the hard variants reaching near class4 armor penetration on the first shot. And the soft variants crack class 2 armor with extensive base damage.

Weapon-specific Modding 2/10
One magazine size and the capability to fit one weapon-specific suppressor limit the capabilities.Two rail systems offer space for tactical lights. There are no after-market weapon-specific mods for this weapon in Tarkov.

General Modding 2/10
Very limited modding offers attachment of tactical lights.

Stocks Stocks create the contact point between the weapon and shooter's body. It it is the most influental weapon part for recoil reduction. The stock causes 30-45% of the recoil reduction of a weapon. The folding of a stock's primary function is to save space when stashing the weapon.
