MP5

Bild
The MP-5 is a German submachinegun chambered for 9x19 that entered service in 1966. The weapon has the appearance of a scaled-down G3 rifle, from the same manufacturer. Perhaps the most recognizable SMG in the world along with the UZI and MAC-10, it is found in the inventories of police force, the Navy SEALS and the British SAS. Variants The weapon is offered as two different variants in EFT. However these are just renamed versions of the same base weapon in EFT. The MP5 and MP5 SD share the same lower receiver ("base weapon") and are therefore not two different weapons, like the AK-74 and the AK-74N, but the same weapon with a different upper receiver. MP-5 Base variant, featuring semi-automatic and automatic firemodes (800 RPM). MP-5 SD A variant with an integral suppressor. A special feature of the suppressor is that it slows supersonic ammo down to subsonic speeds. MP-5 ammo The 9x19 is a standard pistol and SMG cali...

Accuracy

Bild
This guide will provide an overview over accuracy and relevant ballistic factors in EFT. Each weapon has an accuracy value, visible on the weapon stats window. On weapons with interchangable barrels, each barrel has an accuracy value on its own stats window. The accuracy value visible on a weapon is the combined total value, including the effects of all weapon parts attached to the weapon. The two primary factors that determine where shots hit are accuracy and muzzle velocity. Accuracy On firing a round, the game spawns a bullet which is set on a vector towards what the barrel is pointing at plus a deviation from that vector. This potential for deviation is an accuracy cone. In a world without gravity (and air resistance), the bullet would fly straight forever along that vector. However because gravity is harsh and she wants her money back, that flight path vector becomes a parabolic curve. Velocity The velocity of a bullet determines how far it can tra...

P226R

Bild
The P226 is a 9x19 semi-automatic pistol first produces in the early 1980s. Was submitted for trial in to replace the 1911 as the service pistol for the US Army but lost out against the M9 Beretta. Nevertheless, the weapon found its use in variour armies and police forces around the world. In Tarkov it is often considered "scav trash" because it found on scavs and its modding possibilities were very limited. But with the last few patches, the selection of parts was expanded. Beretta wins the contest for replacing the 1911 over Sig. The P226R is the featured variant in EFT. The "R" indicates it has a accessory rail below the barrel. P226R ammo The 9x19 is a standard pistol and SMG caliber for various weapons in EFT. Its advantages are good damage due to the large bullet diameter and relatively low recoil impulse (when fired from an SMG). However in a pistol, the recoil is considerable. The ammo selection offers 6 di...

Vityaz

Bild
The PP-19-01 Vityaz is a russian submachinegun designed in 2004. It is the 9x19 version of its larger sisters, the AK-74 and AKM. The Vityaz comes in two variants currently in EFT. PP-19-01 Vityaz Base variant, featuring semi-automatic and automatic firemodes (700 RPM). Saiga-9 A civilian variant of the vityaz. Features a longer barrel, different muzzle brake and is missing a dovetail mount. It comes equipped with a limited capacity 10-round magazine when found on scavs. It has no select-fire capability. Note: The stats for both weapons (accuracy, velocity) are identical. This may indicate placeholder data, as the longer barrel on a Saiga-9 would suggest different muzzle velocity. All modding parts are interchangeable between the Vityaz and Saiga-9. Vityaz ammo The 9x19 is a standard pistol and SMG caliber for various weapons in EFT. Its advantages are good damage due to the large bullet diameter and relatively low recoil i...
